Bicycle Safety

The bicycle safety program is an annual event held at the Club’s adopted schools throughout the City of Riverside.  With the cooperation of the Riverside Police Department, the Club puts on an instructional program on the proper way to ride a bike, which is geared towards grades 3 through 6.  Following the demonstration, the Club raffles one bike complete with helmet and bike locks per grade level.  In many cases the winner becomes a first time bike owner!  The following dates have been set for this event:

• April 14th – Longfellow Elementary – Bicycle Safety – 1:15 p.m.
• April 21st – Beatty Elementary – Bicycle Safety – 1:15 p.m.
• April 28th – Castle View Elementary – Bicycle Safety – 1:00 p.m.
